Temperatures for the period averaged 45 degrees across the state which was +3.5 degrees from
normal. High temperatures averaged from 60 in the West to 60 in the East. Departure from
normal high temperatures ranged from +4 degrees from normal in the West to +10 degrees
from normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 32 degrees in the West to 30
degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from +0 degrees from
normal in the West to +0 degrees from normal in the East.
Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 1.33 inches statewide which was -0.67 inches from
normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 3.88 inches, Central 1.40 inches, Bluegrass
0.28 inches and East 0.27 inches, which was + 1.71, -0.69, -1.61 and -1.59 inches respectively from
normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 0 inches at Buckhorn Lake to a high of
20.02 inches at Paducah.
