Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Missouri
Based on observations at 1200am CDT, Friday March 14, 2025

Across Missouri...temperatures are near 60 degrees north, near 71 degrees central, and near 64 degrees south. Current sky conditions are clear north, clear central, and cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 72%, and the dew point is near 51 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 42%, and the dew point is near 47 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 64%, and the dew point is near 52 degrees. Winds are from the southeast at 12 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southeast at 12 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southeast at 8 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 71 degrees at Jefferson City. The lowest temperature is 59 degrees at Chillicothe.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Friday through Wednesday

 A very strong storm system will move through the region on Friday.
 Severe thunderstorms are forecast to develop near or just east of
 the Kansas-Missouri border during the afternoon, racing eastward
 through central and northeast Missouri by early evening. Damaging
 wind gusts, marginally severe hail, and a couple of brief tornadoes
 are all possible. In addition, strong to damaging non-thunderstorm
 wind gusts are expected across the area Friday afternoon and 
 evening. With very dry air moving into the region from the 
 southwest during the afternoon, fire-weather conditions will become
 critical and potentially extremely critical, especially for areas 
 south of Interstate 70.
