Temperatures for the period averaged 9 degrees across the state which was 28 degrees cooler than normal
. High temperatures averaged from 12 in the West to 11 in the East.
Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 37 degrees cooler than normal in the West
to 38 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 6 degrees in the West
to 6 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 23 degrees cooler than normal
in the West to 20 degrees cooler than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period
was 63 at FORT CAMPBELL and the extreme low was -13 at OWINGSVILLE 4S.
Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 0.46 inches statewide which was 7.22 inches below normal
and 6% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 0.59 inches, Central 0.58 inches,
Bluegrass 0.32 inches and East 0.35 inches, which was 7.75, 7.64, 6.38 and 7.1 inches below normal.
