Temperatures for the period averaged 18 degrees across the state which was 19 degrees cooler than normal . High temperatures averaged from 23 in the West to 22 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 25 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 26 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 16 degrees in the West to 14 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 12 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 11 degrees cooler than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 66 at CADIZ 4SW and the extreme low was -13 at OWINGSVILLE 4S.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 6.57 inches statewide which was 5.09 inches below normal and 56% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 8.06 inches, Central 7.18 inches, Bluegrass 5.34 inches and East 5.69 inches, which was 4.51, 5.35, 4.82 and 5.67 inches below normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 3.69 inches at CYNTHIANA 8N to a high of 11.84 inches at SMITHLAND DAM.
