Temperatures for the period averaged 40 degrees across the state which was 2 degrees cooler than normal and 6 degrees warmer than the previous period. High temperatures averaged from 54 in the West to 53 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 1 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 1 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 27 degrees in the West to 26 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 6 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 4 degrees cooler than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 79 degrees at GREENVILLE 6N and the extreme low was -3 degrees at BRANDENBURG 4SW.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 0.60 inches statewide which was 2.55 inches below normal and 19% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 0.78 inches, Central 0.59 inches, Bluegrass 0.48 inches and East 0.56 inches, which was 2.39, 2.78, 2.41 and 2.63 inches below normal.
